Pocket Guide to Birds of the Indian Subcontinent - An excellent pocket-sized field guide to the birds of this region.

Shorebirds: An Identification Guide to the Waders of the World - An excellent identification guide to the waders of the world.

The Slater Field Guide to Australian Birds - A very nice, pocket-sized field guide to Australian birds with distribution maps.

Starlings and Mynas - The Helm guide to this family of birds with excellent illustrations and distribution maps.

Stonechats - Superb Helm guide to the stonechats of the world, including ecology and regional subspecies.

The Life of Birds - The book that goes with the excellent BBC television series of the same name.
