Although still common in and around Chantaburi it looks like numbers are decreasing here too. Many suitable habitats have disappeared, mainly for houses or highways.

I often see Yellow-vented Bulbuls where I work on Chareon Krung road. Probably because there are a few large trees right on the banks of the Chao Phraya.

Yes, it’s certainly not a rare species but has noticeably become less common in and around the capital.

Actually the yellow vented bulbul is pretty common in central Bangkok too. I see them eveyday from my balcony in Sukumvit Soi 33.
